Navel gazing

Because I haven't been doing enough navel gazing recently, I thought I'd do this.

I'm an advocating director (for those who are interested Ould is an advocating leader - I think that means he doesn't have the stones to be a director, or something).

This is what it says:
As a DIRECTOR, you combine an unusual openness and passion for beauty and style with confidence and a down-to-earth sensibility that allow you to realize your vision. Being social, empathic, and understanding makes you ADVOCATING.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I mean, everyone who knows me immediately recognises my unusual passion for beauty and style.

Now what I'm interested in is what the Orrsome one is.

So are you going to take up the offer to put your personality DNA on a t-shirt for everyone to see?

stones?

well nuts to you. The difference is this:
a director tells people what to do.
a leader does it too.

Basically it's the difference between an armchair general and a captain in the trenches.

And no, having a tash like Kitchener does not count for anything.

But an armchair general is still a general! And let me tell you, there aren't any armchairs out here in Methven (put there are plenty of trenches).

why does it not surprise me that you would sit in a trench, rather than leading by going over the top?
